♡ Meet Alexandra Javorsky ♡
Hello! My name is Alexandra Javorsky, but most people call me Lexi. I am a sophomore at Duquesne University majoring in Public Relations and Advertising. I have been in charge of running social media accounts for both my extra curricular organizations and for my professional endeavors therefore I am taking this course to hopefully improve and build upon my skills for future employment opportunities. When I approach projects for school and work, I like to plan everything out beforehand. I find this helps me keep my work organized. During group assignments, I try to be flexible and listen to my partners to make sure everyone’s ideas are heard.

Something you should know about me is…
I love watching movies! In 2024, I watched a total of 127 films, totaling over 225 hours of movie time! One of my favorite activities is going to the movie theater with my friends and doing movie marathons where we see multiple films in one day. After watching a movie, I will usually log it on Letterboxd. This is a social platform where users can rate and review movies. It is almost like a film diary of sorts. It helps me keep track of what I am watching but it also allows me to see what my friends and family are watching as well. I have been in love with cinema since I was very young. Watching movies is what helps me relax and unwind after stressful days; It is truly like my happy place. One day, I would even love to work in the film or entertainment industry.

I would like to learn how to improve and effectively adapt my writing style in order to make it applicable for social media.
I would also like to further understand the analytical side of social media marketing in regards to tracking, understanding trends, and how to properly use Google analytics.
Lastly, I hope to understand what SEO is effectively and how it can be used effectively for social media marketing.
