AI has revolutionized the marketing field. The explosion on the scene AI has had is impressive. How has AI changed the marketing landscape? In this article, I decided to look into AI’s effect in the world of marketing and, just for fun, even asked ChatGPT that same question to see its answer.
Analysis and Insights
When asked how AI has changed marketing, ChatGPT said “ One significant impact is in data analysis and customer insights. AI algorithms can analyze vast amounts of data to understand consumer behavior, preferences, and trends, helping marketers tailor their strategies more effectively.” AI has essentially taken a lot of the hard work and number crunching away and made it more efficient for people to view analysis and insights. You can now look at results, stats, insights, audience, and more in just a few clicks thanks to AI.
Chatbots
AI chatbots are a popular tool companies have utilized for jobs such as customer inquiries and service and provide instant responses and ideas. It can easily handle jobs or fill the thick of text regarding service, stories, and more.
Predictive Analytics
Arguably one of AI’s biggest and best features is its predictive analysis. Even ChatGPT headlined it, saying “ AI algorithms can forecast future trends and outcomes, helping marketers make data-driven decisions and optimize their campaigns for better results.” This feature is a game-changer for marketing. Particularly in sports, teams, and front offices want to be the first to do anything. By predicting trends and stats, marketing teams can be ready for anything and get a jump to the general population. As mentioned in Forbes’ article Artificial Intelligence and The Future of Marketing, “Facebook and Google are the biggest online advertising platforms, and they both offer tools that work by combining audience segmentation with predictive analytics. Segmentation splits customers into groups according to characteristics – gender, age, income level, interests, for example, and potentially an infinity of others. Predictive analytics works out which of these groups a particular product or service is most likely to appeal to.”
AI Artwork
AI artwork has been a very prominent thing in sports marketing in recent years. As shown above, teams will use artwork to announce schedules, make graphics, or just to have something fun to post. This used to be a process and a lot of hard work and late nights. Now with AI, you describe what you would like and within seconds it generates your image. Don’t like it? you can ask AI to adjust whatever you would like and again, within seconds you have a new image.
So why AI? Why should people utilize AI in marketing, artwork, customer service, even in this article? It is a new and incredible technological tool that revolutionizes everything. The uses are almost limitless. Just about every site, every social platform, everything including technology has AI. It makes jobs easier, creates opportunity, provokes creativity and innovation. AI is a beautiful thing when used correctly. The world of marketing has taken a huge step forward with the introduction of AI.
