Dejah Braggs

My name is Dejah I am a Senior Digital Media and Public Relations Major at Duquesne University. I am originally from from Newport News, Virginia but I have been living in Pennsylvania for the last 7 years.

Throughout my college career I have had the pleasure of holding several internships. The first being at WEAA 88.9 in Baltimore, MD as a associate producer. During my time at WEAA 88.9 I assisted with recording/producing promotions for the station and also contributed to pitching segments for First Edition with Sean Yoes and Keeping it Movin’ With Marsha Jews.

During my Sophomore year at Duquesne I worked for Schenley Content Marketing Firm as a Digital Marketing Intern and a Content Writer. While working at Schenley I managed the social media for the firm and contributed to developing strategies for social media growth. In addition to assisting with social media I wrote several blog articles for HER Realtors, a respected Real-estate agency in Ohio.

I am currently working at The Talent Group Agency in Pittsburgh. The Talent Group is a premier full-service agency for models, actors, voices and live promotional talent. The Talent Group offers the best and largest selection of experienced professional talent in the region. As an intern my duties include scheduling and participating in on-camera auditions and talent interviews, answering telephones, organizing and updating talent materials and assisting in agency social media and promotional events.

After Graduation, I am looking to relocate to Seattle, Washington to jumpstart my career in Media and Public Relations!

I am a self proclaimed pop culture junkie! There is nothing I love more than a Netflix binge session or a cheesy reality show. When I’m not catching up with celebrity drama I enjoy shooting/editing videos, and creating various types of digital content! Check out some of my work below!
