Popular Mobile Apps During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Mobile habits change almost every year and especially with everyone being stuck at home for many months that it is obvious that things would change. Since everything was in person before the pandemic hit so there was no need for online connection.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic no one ever used ZOOM as a way of communication. Tiktok was another app that was very popular during the pandemic. Many people would go on TikTok to film dances, make whipped iced coffee videos, or make montages reminiscing about life before the pandemic. Another mobile app that became extremely popular was Netflix. Since everyone was home they had more time to watch the shows they never could before or just the new shows that Netflix released. All of these mobile apps paved the way for life now in 2021.
ZOOM:
Zoom has been a staple mobile app that almost everyone started using at the start of the pandemic and even now. At the beginning of the pandemic more than tens of millions of people started using zoom as a form of communication that was different then the normal in person conversations we were all used to. It was so popular at the beginning of the pandemic that it was second to TikTok. It had over 20 million new mobile members.
TikTok:
TikTok is an app that shows 15 second - 1 minute videos of a wide range of things. It was one of the most popular mobile apps during the pandemic and even before.
Netflix
Netflix is one of the largest TV & movie streaming apps. While it was already popular before the pandemic, it became even more popular during. The usability of this app is what probably made this app so popular as well. With easy access to the what TV shows or movies they offer and their different categories.
