My Findings: Xavier Rice

When first going over this assignment I was relieved that friends and family would be able to look at my blog I created. It took me some time to figure out my way through the square space so to be able to have people view my work was very rewarding in a way. My results are pretty much exactly what I expected. I never use Facebook so knowing I wouldn’t get much traction on that platform proved to be true. On the other hand, I knew the friends and family I sent my blog to via email would create much more traction. From my email link I received a total of 23 viewers. My highest viewed day came on April 13 with a total of 9 viewers. The average viewer engaged with my page an average of 2 times and spent an average of 22 seconds each time they viewed my site. I just think this means that my current stage in life gravitates younger viewers instead of the older crowd you may find on the Facebook app. I look at this not as a negative though because I want people around my age and close to me to be the ones viewing this work anyways. I think one thing that will just come with time that would help gain more traction is just making the page pop more. The layout I used was pretty basic as I am still learning my way around the website so I did the best I could and understand down the line my work will look much better. Below are the screenshots and results from my trackable links that were posted and sent out as well as the actual links themselves!

Below is an example of how I sent out my trackable link via email
