Hello, I'm JaMario, a student majoring in Integrated Marketing Communications. Im from northwest Georgia taking this class because I've embarked on a new chapter as a social media influencer, Currently at 10k followers on Instagram, 2k on YouTube, and a TikTok account I was apart of with 100k followers. As I begin to take my personal social media endeavors more seriously, I view the tools acquired in this class as valuable additions to my existing knowledge of algorithms and account growth strategies.

Something Readers Should Know: something the reader should know is that I am college football player at Duquesne University. I play running back which is something I have done since I was 8 years old and I love enjoy the sport of football and truly have a passion for it and all the hardwork and dedication that comes with it. Actually The majority of my content is dedicated to showcasing the life of a "D1 athlete," a dream that took root in my childhood I would watch lots of the same videos that I am currently creating when I was younger and inspired to be in the position of the creators I would watch. The opportunity to create content in this space is not only a personal passion but also a blessed position that I'm grateful to find myself in. I also do lifestyle vlogs and short form content within my platforms and I enjoy the process of creating editing and seeing others enjoy my content.

A LESSON FROM 2023
In a world where everyone's got an opinion on everything, I realized that the only one that truly matters is mine. Praise is cool, criticism is whatever—people are gonna talk regardless. So, why not be yourself I've learned that embracing my passions, and all the messy bits in between is not just liberating but empowering.
2023 taught me that external perceptions aren’t something I should take to heart. its ike those annoying background noises you can't escape. Instead of drowning in the sea of other people's expectations, I've decided to surf my own wave. Whether it's the wild world of social media or the real-life sidelines of being a D1 athlete, staying true to myself has become my new thing. if you live by their approval you’ll die by they’re rejection.
