My name is Marisa and I am Freshman majoring in Public Relations and Advertising with a minor in Digital Media Arts. I am taking this class because I am hoping to one day work in the world of social media. My dream job would be becoming a social media manager for a music artist. I am a quick learner and I work very hard on the things that I am passionate about.

Something You Should Know About Me

I love love love music. I also love concerts. I have been to 8 concerts. I have seen almost all of my favorites artists live. I have seen Harry Styles twice, 5 Seconds of Summer, Taylor Swift, Louis Tomlinson, Sun Room, Lana Del Rey, and The 1975. My favorite concerts have been Harry Styles’ Love on Tour 2021, Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour, and Louis Tomlinson’s Faith in the Future World Tour. Right now, I only have one concert in my lineup. I will be seeing Niall Horan this summer and I am so excited!

Something I Learned in 2023

In 2023, I have learned to appreciate my friends and family more. I moved away from home to come to college in August and the adjustment was hard. I found myself missing my parents, my sister, my friends, and my dog that were all back home. Now in 2024, I will be able to cherish my memories with them and make the most of my time with the people I love (including my dog, Rosie!).
