Meet Luke
About me
Hello, my name is Luke Lawton. I am sophomore getting my major in Sports Information and Media. I am taking this class to diversify my skills in the digital field and be more versatile in the work space to make me more hire able. When it comes to my work I like to stay on track and get everything done effectively and timely while keeping my life as stress free as possible.
Fun Facts
I am apart of a big family. Coming from a family of six. I have three younger brothers who are all different and involved in a vast variety of interest and activities. This has been a big responsibility in my life trying to be the best role model and can be for them. Making sure that my actions would be approved by them and showing them what is the right thing to do is.
Sports is also a massive part of my life. I have always loved sports either playing or watching on T.V. I am a huge Yinzer and love all the teams from Pittsburgh my favorite sadly being the Pirates. I have played almost every sport for at least one season to try and figure out what I liked the best. I eventually found my true love for hockey when I was seven and am still playing currently for Duquesne. However, Football and baseball are my favorite to watch and follow.
What I learned in 2023
2023 was a very interesting year full of new adventures and learning for me as a person. The thing that I will take with me the most going into 2024 is patience. I am normally an impatient person and not being able to sit still or wait for others. 2023 made me work on this by introducing me to new people and jobs into my life that made me work on this to be a better person.
