Hi! I’m Caroline and I’m a junior double majoring in public relations/advertising and communications. I decided to take this class because I am super interested in the world of social media marketing, and thought it would be very applicable to the kind of work I would like to do in the future.

Fun facts about me!
I grew up in Virginia, about 45 minutes away from DC, but I have moved back and forth from VA and OH 5 times. My parents moved back to Cleveland last year.
I’m a huge swiftie. I have tickets to the Eras Tour this November! I also am obsessed with concerts in general, and have been to around 15.
I am a part of a sorority on campus, and it is one of my favorite parts of Duquesne.
AOII’s annual “Spike Out Arthritis” volleyball tournament, which raises money for the arthritis foundation- our national philanthropy.

Something I learned in 2023
In 2023, I tried to adapt a “do it for the plot” mindset. Everything that happened to me, good or bad, I tried to just tell myself that it was all just a learning experience and it would be a funny story in the future. For 2024 I want to continue this, while also challenging myself to say “yes” to everything, and being overall more optimistic.
