Meet Payton Miller.
Hello everyone!! I'm Payton, a senior Digital Media Arts major here at Duquesne. I love making engaging content and telling stories through visuals. I enjoy managing social media accounts, creating engaging posts, or diving deep into the editing process. I thrive on creativity and strategy, whether it's designing compelling graphics, filming engaging videos, or analyzing the latest social media trends.

I decided to take Social Media and Digital Marketing, to learn the “ins and outs” of social media marketing. I am particularly interested in learning about new SEO tools that will help to level up my social media skills.
In the first few weeks of this course, we have discovered the benefits of trackable URL’s, and created a blog article entitled, “ Promotion and Tracking” outlining my findings.
This semester we also were able to choose a social media page to audit. I chose to take a look at Liquid Deaths social media strategy. I wrote a blog page entitled, “Liquid Death Audit” discussion their social media strategy.

I have been running social media for the salon i work at for around 3.5 years now.
This past Spring, I had an internship with a social media agency called Hey Sugar Social. I worked with clients across Pittsburgh, creating and editing content for their small business.

I have worked at Vibe Salon in upper St. Clair as a front desk coordinator for around six years. Then I took over their socials about four years ago!

I graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School in 2021, and I am expected to graduate with a BA in Digital Media at Duquesne this May 2025.
