A company wants to stand out on social media for all the right reasons: entertaining, informative, trusted, vetted, well known, giving back, etc. Being the first company that pops up on a Google search, requires the company to be excelling at managing its reputation.
Your first impression of people lasts forever and you can not change that first impression. A company must make the best first impression on individuals that will hopefully lead to customers and even return customers. Major brands have excelled in this which is why they are so prominent. Social Media has given people the ability to have a first impression of a company whenever and wherever which leads to them learning more about the company at ease.

This means the way a company is identified is the most important thing for business besides revenue. Maintaining and creating the reputation of the company on social media creates an endless amount of resources and connections which will build up the brand. The better a company portrays itself, the more the company will grow and succeed.
The company would constantly need to post important information and updates that allow for its consumers to obtain and gain traffic on the website and social media accounts. In addition, to sharing links to important articles and events that have to do with the business. This allows the company to be vetted and become an expert and a trusted source.
